Vergo Pest Management Ltd is the largest independent national pest service provider in the UK today. Through continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for a customer-facing Pest Control Technician to join our team, working in the Chertsey area. Whether you are experienced in the industry, looking for a change, or starting your career, we want to hear from you.
Our comprehensive range of pest management services includes rodent control, bird management, insect control, and wildlife management. You’ll be at the front line of our service for commercial, residential, and government properties, visiting customers across your area to conduct inspections, carry out treatments, and promote additional work when opportunities arise.
Our salary package is up to £29,500.00 based on qualifications and experience, plus a London Weighting Allowance of £5,000. Additionally, all our technicians have the opportunity to increase their take-home pay by up to £6,000 through leads, commissions, bonus schemes, and incentives. Experience in this field is preferred; however, we provide excellent training for inexperienced candidates and are eager to bring on individuals with initiative, the right attitude, and work ethic. Trainee starting salary is £26,740, rising to £28,000 when qualified.
Minimum Requirements:
- Full UK Drivers Licence
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Live within a 40-mile radius of the advertised area
- The ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision
- Methodical and systematic approach to work
- Comfortable using mobile phone apps
- Excellent attention to detail
