Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services Overview: A well-established and sustainability-led building services consultancy is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to take the lead on electrical design across a variety of projects. Renowned for its technical expertise and dedication to low-carbon solutions, the firm is growing its electrical team to support continued demand in the high-end residential and mixed-use development sectors. Key Responsibilities: Lead electrical design across all project stages, from feasibility to detailed design. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated M&E solutions. Liaise directly with clients to understand requirements and present design proposals. Develop energy-efficient, regulation-compliant electrical systems. Oversee junior engineers and provide mentorship where needed. Essential Skills & Experience: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design software Proven track record in electrical building services design. Experience working on high-spec residential or commercial projects. Excellent technical knowledge and communication skills. Comfortable leading client meetings and presenting design strategies.
