Overview
Our client is an established civil and structural engineering consultancy with an immediate requirement for a Senior Civil Engineer to join its experienced civil engineering design team in Derby. The role offers exposure to a wide range of projects across multiple sectors and provides structured support towards chartership.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and drafting of SuDS schemes, private external works, and Section 38 and Section 104 works for adoption
- Civil engineering design and drafting across residential, industrial, and commercial sectors
- Delivery of projects ranging from small housing schemes to multi-storey developments, with construction values between £250,000 and £30 million
- Contribution to projects delivered to BIM Level 2
- Use of industry-standard software including MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, Civil3D, and PDS, with final drawings produced in AutoCAD
- Deputising for the team leader as required, including planning and organisation of tasks, people, and resources to ensure timely project delivery in line with current design guidelines
