Due to continued growth, there is an opportunity for a competent Risk Assessor to work across a diverse portfolio of sites including residential properties, commercial buildings, educational facilities, care homes, and healthcare environments. The role focuses on delivering UKAS-aligned Legionella Risk Assessments that ensure full regulatory compliance and safeguard public health.
Salary & Benefits
- Base salary up to £35,000
- Annual bonus up to £6,000 (£500 per month)
- Overtime paid at 30% of project value
- On-Target Earnings of £41,000 + additional overtime

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Legionella Risk Assessments across a broad range of property types
- Ensure compliance with ACoP L8, HSG274 Part 2, BS 8580-1 and associated guidance
- Identify and evaluate Legionella risks within water systems
- Provide clear, practical recommendations for remedial actions
- Liaise with internal Quality and Compliance teams to maintain reporting standards
- Promote and maintain high Health & Safety standards on all client sites
- Travel surrounding areas as required
Candidate Requirements
- Essential: Proven experience within the Water Hygiene sector and/or conducting Legionella Risk Assessments
- Strong understanding of Legionella risk management and control measures
- Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to clients
- Sound knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation
- Full UK driving licence
- Competent in using digital reporting systems and mobile technology
- Desirable: Recognised Legionella Risk Assessor qualification (e.g. City & Guilds, BOHS, Water Management Society)
- Applications from experienced assessors without formal certification are welcomed, with support available to achieve relevant qualifications.
A DBS check is required for this position.
