Role: Quality Technician Location: Cheshire Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (40 hours per week, office-based) We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Technician to join a well-established, growing precision engineering manufacturer operating within highly regulated, safety-critical sectors. The Role As a Quality Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring materials, processes, and products meet strict quality and compliance standards. Responsibilities include: Resolving material certification issues with suppliers, stockists, and test houses Liaising with Engineering and Quality teams on certification queries Supporting and advising suppliers on material specifications and standards Conducting witness testing to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements Carrying out internal audits (QMS, product, and process) Supporting investigation and analysis of returned products (e.g. CARs, 8D reports) Assisting with supplier performance reviews, audits, and corrective actions Creating and maintaining quality documentation (procedures, work instructions, alerts) Investigating product/process failures and carrying out root cause analysis (e.g. 8D, 5 Whys) Requirements Experience ...
