Our client, who is a fast growing, fast paced accountancy firm with office locations across the UK, are looking for the right people to join their firm. They are currently seeking to hire a Financial Advisor to join their team in the Hertford office and continue to grow both personally and professionally within this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients (limited companies and sole traders, including dentists)
- Act as the main day-to-day point of contact for clients
- Assist with and prepare management accounts and financial reporting
- Ensure all client deadlines are met and work is delivered to a high standard
- Liaise with internal team members to manage workflow and resolve queries
- Work alongside Directors on Financial Due Diligence assignments for corporate and private equity clients
- Assist senior colleagues on larger, more complex transactions while acting as the primary day-to-day contact on smaller engagements
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, communicating effectively throughout transaction processes
Key Skills
- Level 4 ACA/ACCA or above
- 5+ years' experience working within an accountancy firm
- Strong analytical ability with excellent attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills and a genuine interest in developing financial modelling expertise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to build relationships with clients, legal advisers and other professional stakeholders
- Ability to manage competing priorities and perform effectively under pressure
