Role purpose: Due to continued growth, our client is seeking Transport Planners across Assistant to Associate level to support transport planning inputs across a range of development-led projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare Transport Statements, Transport Assessments and Travel Plans
- Support or lead projects depending on experience level
- Produce transport reports and modelling notes
- Undertake trip generation and distribution analysis
- Develop and review access designs and drawings
- Carry out site visits to support early-stage development
- Attend client and stakeholder meetings
- Provide transport planning input to planning applications
- Assist with fee proposals and project budgets
- Support public consultation and stakeholder engagement
Skills and experience:
- Degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering or similar
- Experience in transport planning consultancy (varied levels considered)
- Understanding of UK planning policy and transport guidance
- TRICS, AutoCAD or transport modelling software experience desirable
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- Ability to manage workload and work within a team
