An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Internal Sales Engineer to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business. This role would suit someone with a technical engineering background who enjoys customer interaction, solution selling and developing long-term client relationships. Working as part of a busy commercial team, you will support customers from initial enquiry through to quotation, order processing and account development.
Responsibilities:
- Managing customer enquiries and preparing quotations
- Providing technical and commercial support
- Processing customer orders and maintaining CRM records
- Developing existing customer accounts and identifying new opportunities
- Working closely with external sales teams to maximise business opportunities
- Reviewing customer requirements and ensuring commercial objectives are achieved
- Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
- Previous experience within Internal Sales, Technical Sales or Sales Engineering
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercial awareness and customer-focused approach
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to understand technical engineering products and specifications
