A leading UK specialist in air hygiene and water treatment solutions is looking for an experienced Air Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ventilation hygiene professional to join a well-established organisation delivering essential services across a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, education, local government, and high-security environments.
The role will involve working across sites throughout the Mid to South of the UK, with regular travel required. Due to the nature of the sites attended, successful candidates will be required to complete appropriate security vetting, ranging from enhanced DBS checks through to higher levels of security clearance. Previous experience within the air hygiene or ventilation hygiene industry is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Carrying out fire damper testing, inspections, and reporting
- Installing duct access doors
- Undertaking ductwork and ventilation cleaning and disinfection in line with TR19 guidance and COSHH regulations
- Completing kitchen extract cleaning to required industry standards
- Carrying out Air Handling Unit (AHU) cleaning, maintenance, and corrosion treatment
- Maintaining accurate site documentation, including job sheets, survey forms, timesheets, and expenses
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
