About the Audit Assistant Manager Role Work closely with Responsible Individuals and Audit Managers, reviewing the work of junior staff prior to overall review, resolving queries wherever possible and providing constructive feedback. Lead audits with minimal support. Manage and direct the audit process, taking responsibility for planning and co-ordinating the work. Liaise with clients to develop an understanding of their industry and the wider business, economic and regulatory environment. Develop less experienced staff through on-the-job training and support their professional development. Liaise directly with clients, maintaining and building relationships to deliver a service that exceeds expectations. Draft and review audit completion reports. Take responsibility for your own workload, including the timely completion of audit work and ensuring work is completed within budget. Prepare statutory accounts and draft corporation tax computations.
