Fixed term 18 month contract. Our client is a leading provider of PE and Music resources designed to make teaching easy, fun, and curriculum aligned for primary schools teaching the UK national curriculum. They pride themselves on supporting teachers with innovative solutions that inspire confidence and enrich learning, and they are seeking an experienced, visionary leader to step into maternity leave cover. This pivotal role needs to ensure the continued success and growth of the business during this period.
They are looking for an experienced leader, ideally with headteacher or deputy headteacher experience with a strong background in teaching or leading both PE and music in UK primary schools. As Interim Operations & Education Lead, you will oversee the operational management of the business, support key educational projects, and provide leadership to ensure the company continues to deliver its high-quality services to schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing operational and educational leadership, ensuring smooth day to day running of the business.
- Oversee and support the delivery of our PE and music resources, maintaining curriculum alignment and quality.
- Lead and support the core team, fostering a collaborative and positive culture.
- Maintain strong relationships with schools, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Drive ongoing projects and initiatives, ensuring they stay on track and aligned with our values.
- Collaborate with the co-founders (remotely) to ensure strategic alignment with the company’s long-term vision.
You will have headteacher or deputy headteacher experience with a proven track record of leadership in UK primary education, with experience teaching or leading both PE and music curriculums in school. With excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, you will be a strategic thinker who can adapt quickly and make informed decisions. You will be passionate about supporting teachers and making complex things simple and engaging.
