About the Role

Verdantix is looking for a Business Development Representative to drive high‑quality pipeline by engaging with vendors across target markets. The role supports the sale of research subscriptions and advisory projects and provides an early career path to a new business‑closing role.

Responsibilities

  • Execute outbound outreach to ICP vendor accounts using phone, email, and LinkedIn to drive qualified meetings.
  • Educate prospects on Verdantix research, advisory offerings and market coverage.
  • Build early‑stage relationships with commercial, product, strategy, and marketing leaders within vendor organisations.
  • Maintain speed‑to‑lead and follow‑up discipline on inbound inquiries routed to the SDR team.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to run targeted outbound campaigns and cadences aligned to product areas and research themes.
  • Qualify vendor needs, identify likely research subscription and advisory opportunities, and hand over strong opportunities to BDMs.
  • Update Salesforce consistently with accurate notes, activities and qualification details to support sales forecasting and reporting.
  • Use Salesloft to manage personalised cadences, track activity levels and improve outreach performance.
  • Develop foundational knowledge of Verdantix research markets, vendor landscapes and buying drivers.
  • Adopt a consultative, team‑based selling approach to improve conversion rates and pipeline quality.

  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication.
