This Senior Analyst will undertake strategic research related to ESG and sustainability services and technology, such as sustainability strategy and operational transformation, as well as the emerging role of AI in sustainability services and functions. Successful candidates will produce high-quality written deliverables, contribute to client‑facing engagements, and lead qualitative and quantitative research in collaboration with other analysts.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Driving research on ESG and sustainability services and software based on the established portfolio of Verdantix methodologies.
  • Delivering presentations, speeches and workshops to external clients, acting as a subject matter expert on queries.
  • Leading interviews with senior managers at corporations and financial firms, as well as executives at services firms and technology vendors to produce reports and gain an understanding of the wider market.
  • Building quantitative models to size and forecast software and services markets, producing reports on technology vendors based on technical briefings.
  • Working with our in‑house advisory team to support client workshops and consulting projects on topics such as sustainability growth strategies and product marketing thought leadership.
  • Attending industry events to help raise Verdantix's profile in the market.
  • Developing trusted relationships with Verdantix clients and senior industry decision makers.
  • Supporting marketing efforts by writing blogs and engaging in social media activities.

About You

  • Educational background in sustainability and/or technology; a master’s degree is desirable but not essential.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a professional services firm or a corporate sustainability role, preferably with or for consultants or services firms.
  • Experience in conducting research interviews and contributing to the development of research reports is a plus.
  • Interest in the future of ESG & sustainability and technology/AI.
  • An inquisitive and analytical mindset to generate ideas and solve problems uniquely.
  • Proven ability to quickly write high‑quality reports for a business audience; knowledge of sustainability services or software is highly desirable.
  • Quantitative skills and knowledge of Excel to manipulate large data sets and apply basic mathematical concepts.
  • Familiarity with the MS Office suite, including PowerPoint, to produce client‑ready analysis and presentations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and team collaboration skills to lead research and run workshops with other team members.
