Reporting into a Director in the Advisory Services team, the Manager will own the successful delivery and commercial outcomes of a portfolio of advisory engagements across a number of our consulting projects with Technology providers, buyers and investors. These projects include, but are not limited to, market strategy, market sizing, acquisitions scans, commercial due diligence, thought leadership and vendor selection.

You will be expected to take immediate ownership of projects, identifying and driving project activities and formulating the end solution and recommendations for our clients. You will be expected to lead on our medium and large size projects with one to four direct reports, ensuring these projects are delivered to budget. Project durations range from two weeks to up to a year.

The Manager should also be focused on continued optimization in the quality, risk management and efficiency of our project delivery. Senior Consultants focus on producing the highest quality outputs and acting as a senior trusted advisor to client executives, shaping project scope and long‑term partnership.

Salary opportunity is £70K - £73K depending on experience level, plus a very competitive quarterly bonus scheme. This is a hybrid role which requires 3 days a week in the office during probationary period, and will decrease to 2 days upon successful completion.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead delivery of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring quality, timelines and effective risk management
  • Provide guidance on project approach, analysis and outputs to ensure high‑quality deliverables
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a day‑to‑day trusted advisor
  • Contribute to shaping client problem statements and defining engagement scope
  • Support business development through proposal development, client discussions and identifying opportunities for follow‑on work
  • Manage and develop consultants through mentoring, coaching and performance feedback
  • Contribute to the development of advisory capabilities, methodologies and best practices
  • Support account growth and team development, including involvement in hiring and internal initiatives

About You

  • 5–8+ years’ experience delivering growth and market strategy consulting engagements, ideally within the technology sector, with a strong track record of high‑quality client outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience leading multiple projects concurrently, including planning, execution and team coordination
  • Experience building client relationships and supporting business development through proposals and opportunity identification
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to structure complex problems and generate clear, actionable insights
  • Proven ability to mentor and support the development of junior team members within project teams
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting insights to client stakeholders
  • Educated to at least BA / BSc level, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); relevant domain knowledge is advantageous
