A leading recycling and waste management business is seeking a Marketing Manager to be based in their central London office. Reporting into the Commercial Director, you will lead their marketing, develop and implement strategy, deliver campaigns, manage and mentor a marketing executive, oversee digital and traditional marketing, support on bids, while promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Duties will include:
- Marketing strategy and its successful implementation across all channels, ensuring projects are delivered on time and budget.
- Management of the team and third-party suppliers, cross department alignment and stakeholder management.
- Identifying growth opportunities and defining digital priorities, establish KPIs to measure commercial impact, looking for insights and report to the leadership team.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with our broader business and commercial goals.
- Working closely with the bids team, to support on delivering compelling bid responses and world class presentations.
- Plan, execute, and optimise fully integrated digital campaigns across PPC, SEO, email, LinkedIn and strategic partnerships.
- Oversee the publication of digital content, ensuring consistent brand messaging and a "sustainability first" tone across all channels.
- Website management, including analytics and content.
Candidate MUST have:
- Proven track record in a similar role, preferably in the sustainability, environmental, waste management or circular economy sectors.
- Good marketing strategy experience, able to develop and evolve a strategy to deliver commercial results.
- Demonstrable leadership skills, managing or mentoring team members within a marketing environment.
- A natural relationship builder capable of extracting insights from business functions to drive marketing success.
- Ability to translate complex sustainability data into engaging visual and written content.
- Good copywriting skills with a keen eye for detail and brand consistency.
- Experience of managing or supporting tender submissions and technical presentations.
Desirable are:
- Experience of the Technical Stack: WordPress, Salesforce Pardot (Account Engagement) and Google Analytics.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop / InDesign) or high-level Canva skills.
