Our client is a growing architectural practice specialising in high-end commercial and residential projects, with a strong focus on luxury design and detailing. The studio offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment where junior team members are genuinely supported, mentored, and given the opportunity to grow into senior professionals within the practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Architectural Technician / Designer to join a thriving practice and work closely with Senior Architects on prestigious projects. The role is designed for someone at the early stage of their career who is technically capable, eager to learn, and looking for long-term development.
You will be supporting the delivery of projects from concept through to technical stages, with a clear pathway to progression as your experience and responsibilities grow.
Key Responsibilities- Producing accurate technical drawings using AutoCAD
- Supporting Senior Architects across multiple commercial and residential projects
- Assisting with planning, technical, and construction drawing packages
- Applying and developing knowledge of UK Building Regulations
- Coordinating drawings and responding to technical queries
- Assisting with design development and detailing, particularly on high-end schemes
- Attending site as required and carrying out measured building surveys
- Recording site information accurately and feeding this back into drawing packages
- Supporting project delivery to agreed deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Recent graduate or junior-level professional (experience is flexible)
- Strong and competent AutoCAD skills (essential)
- Good working knowledge of UK Building Regulations
- Comfortable attending site and undertaking surveys
- Architectural Technology, Architecture, or related qualification preferred
- High attention to detail and strong technical ability
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to learn
