An established and growing luxury interior design studio is seeking a talented Business Development Manager to join its London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, commercially minded individual with a strong background in sales, business development, relationship management, or client acquisition, ideally gained within the interior design, luxury design, high-end property, or luxury lifestyle sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing new business opportunities, building relationships with high-net-worth clients, property professionals, developers, agents, and wider luxury sector contacts, while helping to support the continued growth of the studio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the luxury interiors, prime residential, property, and lifestyle sectors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, introducers, agents, developers, consultants, and industry professionals
  • Represent the studio professionally and confidently at meetings, networking events, industry functions, and client-facing opportunities
  • Support the development and delivery of business development strategies to generate new fees and long-term opportunities
  • Manage and nurture a pipeline of potential new clients, ensuring regular follow-up and professional communication
  • Work closely with the senior leadership and design teams to understand the studio’s offering, project capability, and target client base
  • Research and identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and potential referral channels
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, opportunities, and business development activity
  • Promote the studio’s reputation within the high-end interiors and luxury residential marketplace

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within a sales, business development, client relationship, or similar commercially focused role
  • Previous experience within interior design, luxury design agencies, prime residential property, high-end interiors, or a related luxury sector is highly desirable
  • A strong existing network within property, interiors, luxury lifestyle, UHNW / HNW client circles, or associated sectors would be highly beneficial
  • Confident, engaging, and professional communication style
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and develop long-term relationships
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently as well as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Genuine passion for luxury interiors, design, and the high-end residential market
  • Previous experience with a medium to high-end studio, or within prime level property or interiors, would be preferred
