As Complex Supervisor you will assist the Bar & Restaurant Manager with the effective management of our food and beverage services on park. You will help oversee all aspects of the service and the staff, leading by example with a friendly and professional approach. As a Supervisor you will promote high standards of quality, high levels of customer service, cleanliness and presentation, and maximise every opportunity to improve performance and profits. The role is key to ensuring our customers can relax, dine and enjoy the entertainment activities they are expecting, and also to ensuring that any problems are resolved quickly and professionally.
Typical duties and responsibilities include
- Assist the Bar & Restaurant Manager with the day to day operation of the bars, ensuring excellence in customer service and focus on opportunities for growth
- Manage a system of stock control, stock rotation and ordering in conjunction with the Bar & Restaurant Manager
- Ensure there is sufficient and appropriate staffing at all times whilst adhering to wage budget
- Promote sales and 'up-sell' additional products wherever possible. Encourage all team members to up-sell and provide coaching where appropriate
- Ensure opening and closing procedures for the bar and kitchen are adhered to, equipment is switched on/off etc.
- Ensure that all staff are smart, wearing uniforms and name badges at all times
- Ensure that all team members are suitably trained, have comprehensive product knowledge and understand what is required from them in their job role.
- Provide bar and table service to customers delivering excellent customer service
You will need to have previous experience supervising food and/or beverage service within a fast-paced hospitality environment, with a clear understanding of maintaining high service, quality, and compliance standards. Experience supervising and supporting a staff team is essential, along with the ability to lead by example and manage teams effectively during busy operational periods. Strong communication skills, a positive leadership style, and the ability to manage challenges calmly and professionally are key to success in this role.
