We are a full-stack AI infrastructure company, meaning we design, operate, and optimize the compute powering modern AI workloads across training and inference. Your responsibilities:

  • Lead external communications and reputation management for Verda in the UK.
  • Shape Verda's communications strategy in one of its key markets and the company's external narrative.
  • Work on media relations, executive visibility, announcements, and crisis communications.
  • Build trusted relationships with Verda's external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with Government Relations, Marketing, Operations and our wider Communications team.
  • Monitor coverage and industry conversation to spot opportunities and risks.

Your key competencies:

  • 7+ years of experience in external communications, reputation management, media relations, corporate communications, or a related field.
  • Track record of building impactful communications strategies.
  • Ability to navigate complex technological, political and business topics and to build clear messaging that positions Verda in relevant conversations.
  • Experience working with media and journalists in the UK market and building trusted relationships.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a technology, cloud, AI, SaaS, or scale-up environment.
  • Experience building communications strategies and navigating complex issues.
  • Experience supporting executive and leadership communications.
  • Experience with media training and spokesperson preparation.
  • Experience managing crisis or issues communications.
