- Your Responsibilities
- Participating in shaping Verda’s IAM platform evolves and how it stretches through our diverse product portfolio.
- Work on large-scale resource planning systems and internal tooling, possibility to contribute to codebase across multiple services and products
- Work closely with SRE engineers and data center team to build APIs for fast and robust resource provisioning.
- Participate in improving the CI/CD pipelines, test coverage and deployments.
- Pay close attention to information security principles, and use them to drive engineering decisions.
- Communicate with internal team leads and other stakeholders
- Your key competencies
- 3-5 years of experience as a Back-end engineer.
- Strong knowledge of IAM and related technologies, including OAuth 2.0/2.1, OIDC, SAML 2.0, JWT, RBAC, Re BAC, MFA, TOTP, Passkeys and FIDO2.
Experience with Workload/machine identities or service accounts is a plus.
- Proficiency with Go, including web APIs, concurrency, performance optimization and caching.
- Experience with Type Script (we use Node & React).
- Experience with designing, building, and maintaining micro-service architectures and workflows.
- Proficiency in working with SQL databases and designing scalable data models, including familiarity with Go database tooling.
- Experience with maintaining public RESTful APIs.
- TDD-based way of working, working with testcontainers-like test setups rather than mocking with interfaces.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Dev Ops practices is a plus.
- Practicalities
- Hybrid mode: This role requires presence in our Helsinki or London office 3 days per week.
