Imagine a future where everyone has instant, low-cost access to intelligence.

We're building a fully featured European AI cloud — with everything one needs to train, experiment with, and deploy AI models.

In addition, our GPUs run on 100% renewable energy.

We’re ambitious, curious, and pragmatic builders.

We operate with low hierarchy, high ownership, and a strong bias for action.

We’ve already achieved a lot, but we’re just getting started.

Now it’s your chance to join the ride. Join Verda while it’s still being built — not once it’s finished!

What you'll do

You’ll own Verda's containers and serverless offering — from managed container workloads through to our new Functions-as-a-Service (Faa S) products, as well as our Managed Kubernetes offering.

Our goal is to make development and deploying seamless for developers and teams without incurring them the overhead of service management.

  • Formulate, own and evolve product strategy and roadmap for containers and serverless, balancing out customer needs, internal requirements and business goals.
  • Champion a developer-first experience: deploy in minutes, scale to zero, fast cold starts, on-demand GPUs, and pay-per-use pricing.
  • Identify and act on product opportunities, be aware of where the industry is going and be part in forming that, not just reacting.
  • Define and own success metrics — adoption, usage, retention, and margin

What we're looking for

  • 3–5 years in product management / product ownership for a technical or developer-facing product, ideally in cloud, infrastructure, or platform.
  • Solid grasp of containers and serverless as a domain — containerization, orchestration (Caa S, Paa S, Kubernetes as a Service), and the Faa S / event-driven model.

You don't have to write code, but you should speak the language fluently.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML workloads and GPU-backed compute — what teams need to train, fine-tune, and serve models.
  • A strong sense of developer experience — you understand what makes an API or platform a pleasure (or a pain) to build on.
  • Experience with building, launching and running cloud products and shaping them through experiences gathered.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environments
  • Self-sufficient, proactive, and ownership-driven mindset
  • Experience collaborating across Product, Engineering, and Leadership teams

Nice to have

  • A hands-on/technical background (former engineer or solutions architect), familiarity with usage-based pricing models, and an understanding of the European cloud and sovereignty landscape.
  • Experience defining product metrics, and prioritization frameworks
  • Ability to work with data independently, including SQL and analytics/dashboarding tools

Why Verda

  • Cash + equity compensation along with various fringe benefits (e. g., healthcare, lunch, wellbeing, etc.).
  • Profitable operations with rapid, sustained growth.
  • 31 nationalities, with 6 different ones on the management team.
  • An opportunity to make a clear impact and work alongside world‑class engineers, researchers, and partners across the global AI ecosystem.

Position Details

  • Department: Product
  • Location: Helsinki
  • Work arrangement: Hybrid (3 days/week on-site)
  • Employment type: Full-time, permanent
  • What’s next

We’re building fast and this role needs the right person behind it. There’s no artificial deadline, but when we find who we’re looking for, we move.
