About The Role

Verda's infrastructure runs on high-value serialized hardware: GPUs, NICs, servers. They are moving constantly between vendors, warehouses, and datacenter sites across multiple countries. Today, tracking all of that is fragmented. We need someone to build inventory management at Verda from the ground up: the system, the standards, the workflows, and the operating model that scales with every new location we open. You will design the global inventory data model and asset tracking standards, set up inbound/outbound and internal movement workflows, integrate inventory with ERP, procurement, logistics, and finance tooling, and roll the operating model out to new sites as we expand. This is a greenfield build with high stakes: when you succeed, hardware deployments get faster, costs come down, and SLAs get met.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the setup of Verda's inventory management system — a single source of truth for serialized hardware assets across all sites.
  • Define global inventory data models, workflows, asset tracking standards (labeling, scanning, lifecycle states), and operational policies.
  • Design and run controlled, auditable inbound/outbound delivery and internal movement workflows, including cycle counts and reconciliation.
  • Integrate ERP systems with procurement, logistics, finance, warehouse, and infrastructure tooling so the full chain — PO, receipt, put-away, allocation, shipment, decommission — is traceable end to end.
  • Own hardware lifecycle management and build scalable inventory visibility across multiple global datacenter locations.
  • Coordinate closely with Procurement, Finance, Logistics, and DC Operations, and improve storage environments for sensitive equipment.
  • Establish and deploy the standard operating model (SOPs, RACI, site playbooks) to new locations and warehouse setups.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in ERP, inventory management, supply chain, or datacenter operations.
  • Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, warehouse operations, logistics, and global inventory operations.
  • Experience with high-value serialized hardware assets.
  • Experience managing complex inventory across multiple locations or countries.
  • Strong analytical and process optimization skills.

Strong Plus

  • Experience in cloud infrastructure, GPU infrastructure, hyperscale datacenters, telecom, or enterprise hardware environments.
  • Experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Experience scaling operations in fast-growing technology companies.
  • Experience building inventory systems from scratch.
  • Experience managing GPU or AI infrastructure inventory.
  • Familiarity with international shipping/customs workflows.
  • Understanding of hardware procurement and vendor management.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or infrastructure operational frameworks.
