About the role
As Lead Mechanical Engineer you own how our sites stay cool.
You will design the cooling architecture for high density AI and GPU halls, set the airflow and containment strategy, plan thermal capacity, and push hard on energy efficiency.
It is a defining discipline for an AI data center, where rack densities are climbing and liquid cooling is fast becoming the norm.
- Your responsibilities
- Design cooling architecture, including CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, and liquid / direct-to-chip cooling for GPU and AI racks
- Define airflow management and hot / cold aisle containment strategy
- Perform thermal capacity planning across the facility
- Optimise designs for energy efficiency and low PUE
- Coordinate with electrical, structural, and controls disciplines so the mechanical design lands as one integrated system
- Your key competencies
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- 7 to 10 years in HVAC or mission-critical cooling design
- Strong grasp of PUE optimisation and thermal modelling
- Track record coordinating across engineering disciplines
- Nice to have
- Direct-to-chip or immersion liquid cooling experience
- Data center or other high density industrial facility experience
- Familiarity with building in the Nordics
- What's next
We're building fast and this role needs the right person behind it. There's no artificial deadline, but when we find who we're looking for, we move.
