Vercity are currently recruiting for an Asset Manager at one of our flagship projects at Whiston Hospital and also covering St Helens Hospital. Vercity are a UK market leader in the management of public sector assets and infrastructure and Whiston is 1 of our 100+ projects across the UK and North America – a site and project of which we are very proud.

The successful candidate will be experienced in healthcare and PFI to join our established team and report to the project General Manager. You will be the bridge between the hospital management board and the facilities service provider. You will attend regular meetings with the Board and the Contractor including regular reporting on performance and compliance in line with the Project Agreement.

  • Contract Management
  • Variation Management
  • Contractor Management and Communications
  • Technical Lead including HTM & HSAW compliance and recording (the information recording is key)
  • Asset Management Lead – under the terms of the Project Agreement
Requirements
  • In depth knowledge of FM service in a healthcare / public sector setting
  • In depth knowledge of FM statutory and regulatory compliance including HMT / HSAW
  • Knowledge of working with detailed contractual, statutory and guidance documents
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and practices
  • Proven record of service delivery
  • Balanced and effective communicator, presenter and partner to all stakeholders in the project – conscious of the nature and challenges of a hospital setting and all that entails
  • A recognised technical, and H&S, qualification would be an advantage
