Vercity are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager (part-time) at one of our flagship SPV projects in Lee-on-the-Solent, Hampshire. Reporting to the General Manager, the role is part time (21 hours per week) and is key in the delivery of maintenance, repair and lifecycle services to 148 service houses and associated external spaces. The hours can be worked on a variety of schedules over 3, 4 or 5 days but does require one day per week on site to liaise with the Facilities Management contractor, the client as well as also being confident in communication and reporting to contractors, tenants, and senior Executives (and Officers) of the Board.
Your responsibilities:
- Ensuring the contractual delivery of FM services in line with the Contract
- Understanding problems and able to evaluate and communicate solutions options from a technical basis (particularly with regard to M&E, heating, ventilation, water & fire)
- Ensuring contract compliance and accurate, contemporaneous record keeping
- Ability to assess requests for variations and additional works accurately and provide cost-effective solutions
- Assurance, audit, monitoring and governance
- Regular contract reporting and understanding and delivering on contract KPIs
- Contractor Management and Communications including weekly site visits
