We're seeking a future team member for the role of Client Billing Manager to join our Pershing EMEA team. Pershing provides a broad range of financial business solutions to investment banks, broker-dealers, wealth managers, financial planners and advisers across EMEA. We provide sophisticated front-end technology and flexible middle office capabilities with execution, settlement and custody services. These are supported by a robust regulatory and compliance framework with dedicated client asset experience and expertise. This role is located in Liverpool and is hybrid.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Participate in the preparation of billing of clients.
- Understand all processes and procedures and be able to undertake all tasks wherever necessary.
- Suggest efficiencies and improvements and be able to advise on best practice.
- Recruit, direct, motivate and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional development and ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
- Manage the daily process workflow within the team and align team resources accordingly to complete the required tasks.
- Enforce an effective control environment around the entire billing related processes.
- Serve as the escalation point for critical issues and manage through to resolution.
- Ensure the volume of work produced meets product/service standards and exceeds quality standards and is properly reviewed and documented.
- Own the 'charging database' and play a key role in utilizing it to identify revenue leakage opportunities, and to prevent leakage in the future.
- Oversee invoice calculation and generation to ensure correct and timely preparation.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Proven experience of Billing in the Financial Services.
- Experience in Finance Operations processes.
- Ideally ACCA Qualified or equivalent.
- Strong controls and process experience.
- Ability to demonstrate strong stakeholder management.
- Advanced Excel knowledge.
- Experience in managing an off-shore team is preferable.
