Operational Underwriting AssistantWorthingSalary Β£26,800We are currently recruiting for an Underwriting Assistant on a 12 FTC.Are you a strong, dynamic and positive person with a can-do, will-do approach? If you have an interest in the Insurance, Finance and/or Risk industries and are looking to build a long-lasting, successful career then look no further!Together, we\βll be working towards providing a comprehensive service which aids our team of underwriters. This will include building a successful network of internal and external relationships; responding to a variety of enquiries and meeting high standards to ensure customer satisfaction.A bit about the job: Collaborating with our Trading Underwriter team in London to deliver end-to-end policy management for large, complex corporate risks. (Occasional travel to London) Delivering business-important metrics alongside our management team. Spotting and driving opportunities for operational improvements. Acting on feedback from customers and sharing ideas with managers and peers. Taking personal responsibility for development in line with business strategy.Skills and experience we\βre looking for: Proven record of delivering excellent customer outcomes. Experience in building and encouraging positive internal and external relationships. Good knowledge of IT including spreadsheets; databases and word processing. Previous underwriting experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
