South Western Railway (SWR) operates over 1,500 services each weekday across the network and employs more than 5,000 people. To support the Recognition and Engagement Managers with the administration of the Colleagues Yourvoice Survey, Investors In People, Colleagues Activity Group and Recognition. Will support in the delivery of all aspects of Engagement and Recognition which will enhance the colleague experience working at South Western Railway. Will help in delivering the People and Culture Strategy.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Responsible for the administration relating to Investors In People
  • Responsible for the administration of the Colleagues Yourvoice Survey and any Pulse Surveys that need to be undertaken
  • Responsible for the administration of the Colleagues Activity Group
  • Responsible for raising of all Purchase Orders and Good Receipting for the Recognition and Engagement Team
  • Support with the promotion of the Colleagues Yourvoice Survey
  • Support with the promotion of Investors In People
  • Support with the promotion of all of the Recognition Schemes
  • Support with the administration of the Cycle2Work Scheme

You’ll need:

  • Previous experience working in an HR environment would be an advantage
  • Strong time management skills and a proven ability to prioritise workload to business needs
  • Excellent communication skills required and able to communicate with both internal and external customers
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Have a flexible approach to ensure customer needs are met, including being able to travel across the business
  • Experience working with Office 365, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Applicants who require a visa must have 6 months remaining at the time of their appointment

Overline House is conveniently situated overlooking Southampton Central Station and is easily accessible by public transport. The station is very local to West Quay, a hub for retailers and restaurants, and provides an excellent link between London, coastal areas and the Isle of Wight.

You will work an average of 37 hours per week across 5 days, typically, Monday - Friday, office hours.
