We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to work closely with children on a 1:1 basis who require tailored support to manage complex behavioural challenges in a SEND school in Wirral. This is a full time/long term role with the opportunity to be taken on a permanent contract for the right candidate.
Due to the nature of this role, you must have experience of supporting young people with Special Educational Needs such as Autism, Dyslexia & ADHD above the age of 11 years.
This SEND Teaching Assistant role will involve supporting the class teacher with anything they need support with, including keeping all students on task and ensuring that the work they are doing is being done to a good standard. You will be responsible for getting resources ready for the day and ensuring the classroom is kept clean and tidy each day.
