  • Improving data quality, governance, accessibility and adoption across the business.
  • Building effective partnerships with stakeholders and suppliers that deliver measurable business value.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing Data Engineering or similar technical teams within complex business environments.
  • Extensive experience designing, delivering and supporting enterprise-scale data platforms, pipelines and integration solutions, with a proven track record delivering successful data transformation initiatives.
  • Strong technical expertise in Azure, Databricks, T-SQL and modern cloud-based data technologies, with a solid understanding of data architecture, integration patterns and governance principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop technical roadmaps and translate strategic goals into delivery plans, while effectively managing stakeholders, third-party suppliers and multiple data sources.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, develop and engage both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, building trusted relationships and influencing outcomes across all levels of the organisation.
  • A strategic and commercially minded approach, able to translate business objectives into effective technical solutions and priorities.
  • Highly organised and adaptable, with excellent planning, decision-making and problem-solving skills in fast-paced and evolving environments.
