We are looking for a Learning & Development Partner who will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the People Strategy, from a Learning perspective. The L&D partner will use their expertise to work in partnership with the wider People team, business stakeholders, and Project Leads, to understand the needs of the business and recommend, and deliver comprehensive learning interventions, which will drive business success. This role will also be responsible for leading a small team of Learning experts to support the delivery of the agenda in conjunction with sourcing innovative and impactful solutions from outsource providers including Apprenticeship and University programmes.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Business Partnering multiple Directors and Heads of Department to shape and implement the Learning agenda, aligned to the wider Business and People Strategy.
- Management of business wide interventions such as the Essential Learning Curriculum, and the delivery of the Management Development programme.
- Lead efficient learning needs analysis and provide forward thinking and practical L&D solutions.
- Source learning solutions utilising both the internal Learning and Development team and external providers to deliver L&D solutions that will continually increase individual and organisational capability.
- Deliver first class Management Development learning experiences, with engaging facilitation and learning support which delivers behavioural change.
- Work in partnership with the Projects Team to ensure learning needs are understood and solutions agreed, sometimes on a just in time basis.
- Evaluate learning interventions to ensure the right solutions are in place to build capability and have delivered the required ROI.
- Lead the learning curriculum for your business areas ensuring it is maintained annually, developed in line with the internal governance process, and fully utilised across the business.
Experience:
- A successful track record of working as a Learning and Development Manager ideally within data and technology sectors.
- Experience of dealing with external training providers, including Universities, apprenticeships and utilising the Apprenticeship Levy is essential.
- Experience of leading the delivery of Management Development Programmes would be an advantage.
- Proven ability to use analytics, problem solve and advise on appropriate learning solutions to meet organisational and individual needs.
- Experience of using blended learning / social learning solutions and how they can be used.

- Proven analytical skills to use data and metrics to evaluate the efficiency of Learning solutions and make data-driven decisions.

- Confident, with well-developed interpersonal skills, able to interact effectively with people at all levels.
Qualifications and other requirements:
- CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in Organisational Learning & Development or similar would be advantageous.
- Industry Experience: Technology / Data is essential, Financial Services is advantageous.
