The Environmental Specialist is responsible for ensuring the site’s compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and best practices. The role involves managing environmental programs, overseeing environmental risk assessments, and working cross-functionally with teams to integrate environmental best practices into daily operations. This position plays a key role in protecting the environment, minimizing environmental impact, and supporting sustainability efforts at the site level.
Core Responsibilities:- Lead, implement, and continuously improve environmental programs that align with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and Veranova’s sustainability goals.
- Manage waste management, water conservation, energy efficiency, IS014001 accreditation and emissions control programs.
