As a Manager HR Transformation Consultant, you will guide and support clients through the deployment of new technology. This role blends stakeholder and project management, solution and process design, and change management to help HR teams and the wider business on their transformation journey.
Description of role
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising clients on HR/Payroll service design, operating models and capability required to enable a future state service design, including requirements for new technologies.
- Supporting clients with a case for change, defining opportunities and translating them into a roadmap and action plan.
- Providing expertise on the deployment of HR/Payroll technology solutions from functional, organisational and change perspectives.
- Leading our team to design the client’s future service offering, including delivery model (retained vs shared services) and mapping of processes.
- Identifying and resolving risks and issues arising from the delivery of the transformation programme, including technology deployment.
- Working with technical teams to ensure the solution is built according to design and meets business requirements.
- Defining and embedding new ways of working with the business.
- Working on internal process improvement projects as part of the Veran HR Community.
Desired qualifications
- HR qualifications, ideally CIPD Level 5 or similar.
- Experience of leading HR transformation.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and team‑management skills.
- Proactive, independent and self‑starter.

Location
We operate a hybrid working model, typically combining office and remote work. Our teams are based across the UK, and we welcome applications from talented individuals regardless of location, provided they can attend in‑person meetings when needed. Some roles may require occasional travel to client sites, and we support our people in arranging these smoothly.
