At Veramed, weβre expanding our Real World Evidence (RWE) team and are looking for experienced Statistical Programmers who are passionate about hands-on programming and want to do meaningful work in a supportive, quality focused environment. Whether you're coming from another CRO/pharmaceutical company or moving away from an academic setting, Veramed provides the kind of balance that helps people thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality programming solutions for real-world data projects in a collaborative FSP-style setup.
- Create and validate analysis datasets and outputs using R (preferred), SQL (or SAS Proc SQL), and SAS.
- Tackle data challenges using structured, creative approaches, working with real-world datasets.
- Contribute to shaping best practices in our growing RWE team.
- Work closely with clients and internal teams in a clear, communicative way.
Daily Interactions:
- Communicate with study team members and client contacts.
- Share updates internally and in client meetings.
- Collaborate with the Veramed team to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
- Provide mentoring and programming expertise as needed.
Beneficial Experience:
- 4β8 yearsβ experience as a statistical programmer, with exposure to RWE or observational data.
- Strong hands-on experience in R and/or SQL / Proc SQL / SAS.
- Comfortable working independently with real-world datasets (EHR, claims data, registries, etc.).
- A BSc (or higher) in a relevant field (statistics, mathematics, computer science, life sciences).
- An interest in continual learning and improving tools, workflows, and approaches.
- You may have a background in statistics, but your focus is now on programming.
