At Veralto we are seeking a Systems Engineer to join our global infrastructure team and help us deliver secure, scalable, and reliable technology platforms across our Operating Companies. This role is central to ensuring that our enterprise systems and cloud environments run seamlessly, enabling innovation and operational excellence. This position is part of Veralto’s global IT organization, will be remote, and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment where collaboration and innovation drive our success. In this role, you will:
- Design, deploy, and operate Microsoft Azure environments, including management of multiple subscriptions and contributing to multi‑tenant architecture
- Support and evolve enterprise systems architectures and standards that ensure scalability, security, and operational consistency
- Administer and support Windows Server environments, including deployment, patching, lifecycle management, and architecture support
- Operate and maintain Microsoft SCCM and SCOM for systems management, monitoring, and visibility
- Support endpoint and device management solutions using Microsoft Intune, MDM, and JAMF
- Provide operational support for enterprise endpoint access and remote support tools such as Bomgar
- Support and maintain DNS services (internal and external) and SFTP platforms supporting business and application integrations
- Implement and support Azure Arc for hybrid and non‑Azure resource visibility and management
- Partner with Security teams to deploy, monitor, and operationalize Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to automate and standardize platform deployments
- Execute systems‑focused projects across Veralto Operating Companies under guidance from senior engineers or architects
- Document system configurations, standards, and operational procedures
- Collaborate closely with Network, Security, and Cloud Architecture teams to ensure aligned and reliable infrastructure services
The essential requirements of the job include:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles
- Hands‑on experience supporting Microsoft Azure environments, including subscription‑level management
- Strong experience administering Windows Server in enterprise or cloud‑integrated environments
- Experience operating Microsoft SCCM, SCOM, and Intune
- Practical experience with endpoint management, including MDM solutions and JAMF
- Experience supporting enterprise security platforms such as Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel
- Working knowledge of Azure Arc and hybrid systems management concepts
- Experience supporting DNS (internal and external) and managed file transfer platforms (SFTP)
- Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform and scripting (PowerShell preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex systems issues in production environments
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global infrastructure team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant industry certifications (cloud, security, systems, automation, or platform technologies)
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
- Experience working in large enterprise or multi‑OpCo environments
- Experience supporting infrastructure platforms during M&A, carve‑out, or organisational change
- Comfortable operating in environments with high autonomy and loosely defined problem spaces
- Proactive use of AI tools and an AI‑first mindset, leveraging modern AI capabilities to improve productivity, speed of execution, troubleshooting, documentation, and problem‑solving
- Self‑starter mentality: Proactively identify gaps and improvement opportunities, independently research and implement solutions without waiting for detailed instructions, and actively reduce operational burdens to enhance overall team effectiveness.
