The Field Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, service, repair, and maintenance of our full range of coding and marking products available in the UK. The successful candidate is someone who has a passion for success, eager to develop as a Field Service Engineer and committed to forging a long-term career with us and based in Reading.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Responding to breakdowns on customer sites, quickly performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on units to guarantee that our products operate to the required standards.
  • Striving to maintain and grow customer relationships through excellent customer service and communication and implement any necessary corrective actions.
  • Timely and professionally handling field service calls and issues arising from field service visits.
  • Traveling daily to and from your home address to customers' sites across the midlands and further afield when required. This role may include pre-arranged occasional nights away from home.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • At least two years' experience gained within a technical/engineering customer service or field service role.
  • A proven track record of working in a field service capacity, gained within a customer-focused environment with problem-solving experience within an electronics/electro-mechanical, or a relevant technical discipline.
  • A full UK driving licence.
