Overview
In this role you will own EHS performance across five UK & Ireland sites, shaping systems and site security. You will engage diverse teams, influence leaders, and translate requirements into practical actions. You’ll drive continuous EHS improvement across R&D, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, and commercial environments as part of a global tech organization. You’ll work onsite five days a week with periodic travel to Huntingdon and Ireland. Your work directly supports a safe, compliant, and efficient operation across multiple sites.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS and Site Security Management Systems across five locations
- Ensure regulatory and contractual compliance for UK and Ireland
- Identify training needs and coordinate EHS training programs
- Identify risks, implement controls, and monitor effectiveness
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives with measurable results
- Foster site engagement across R&D, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, and commercial teams
- Advise senior stakeholders and site leaders on practical EHS guidance
- Support investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and follow-up
- Support development and maintenance of Site Security Management Systems
- Maintain accurate EHS records and audit-ready documentation
- Coordinate EHS activities across UK & Ireland and share best practices
- Regular travel to Huntingdon and Ireland to align EHS activities
Key requirements
- Proven experience developing and maintaining EHS systems in multi-site environments
- Strong knowledge of UK EHS legislation and regulatory requirements
- NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Ability to advise, influence, and partner with senior stakeholders and teams
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, planning, and prioritization abilities
- Hands-on, independent contributor who can also collaborate across sites
- Willingness to perform EHS administration and maintain documentation
- Fully onsite work commitment (five days per week)
- Resident in or willing to relocate to Nottingham; willing to travel to Huntingdon and Ireland
