Overview
As Business Unit Director, you drive the strategy, growth and profitability of the LCM/LPA/TTO/TIJ product lines within a matrix organization.
You will align Sales, Marketing, Product Planning, Service, Operations, Procurement, Engineering and R&D to deliver global impact.
You address market dynamics, bugs and enhancements while enabling cross-functional success.
This role offers leadership across product planning, go-to-market, and P&L with meaningful opportunities to shape Videojet’s product portfolio and performance.

Responsibilities
- Develop 1- and 3-year product line strategy, including revenue expectations and high-level requirements
- Own sales growth and P&L for assigned products in collaboration with regional leaders
- Create enablement materials for sales (ROI/TCO tools, value documents, guides)
- Plan global product launches and internal support materials
- Collaborate with Marketing to define target segments and demand generation campaigns
- Engage with field to understand customer, competitor, and market dynamics (Gemba)
- Lead bug fixes, upgrades, and enhancements and drive items to completion
- Coordinate with engineering, production, marketing and sales for product development, QA and successful releases
- Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 5-7 years in product management or related role with track record of successful new product launches
- Experience in a senior product role at director level with a technical product preferred
- Strong understanding of the marking and coding market and industry trends
- Strong expertise in market research tools and techniques
- Proficiency in creating product vision and leading cross-team collaboration across engineering and commercial organizations
