KNOTTINGLEY SITE WEST YORKSHIRE

Glass is infinitely recyclable making it an important packaging material of today and more importantly of the future, as such the glass industry is an exciting and sustainable business to work in and be part of.
We are currently seeking to recruit a highly motived and pro-active individual to join our Mould Shop Department as an Glass Production Mould Engineering Assistant at our West Yorkshire site in Knottingley.
Reporting to the Mould Shop Manager, the purpose of the role is to assist and support our busy Mould Shop Department which services our glass forming production area. Main duties will include the transfer of glass mould equipment, weighing in the range of 5kg to 45kg, between the Mould Shop and factory production environment for use on the glass forming machines; together with the industrial cleaning and polishing of glass mould equipment. In addition, transporting glass mould equipment between our two production sites (the second of which is based in Leeds) is also a requirement of this role, therefore a full driving licence is essential.
Ideal candidates will possess a Level 2 NVQ in Performing Engineering Operations, or equivalent, however, this is not essential as training will be provided for the right person. A keen eye for detail along with excellent communication skills are also essential for this role.
This is a day position, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 6.00am to 2.00pm.
