Verallia UK is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of premium glass containers, supplying high-quality packaging to some of the world’s most recognised spirits brands for over 100 years. As an infinitely recyclable material, glass plays a vital role in the future of sustainable packaging, making this an exciting industry to be part of. We don’t just care about what we make, but how we make it. Our robust CSR strategy is built around three pillars: People Commitment, Environment, and Sustainable Growth. We have set an ambitious decarbonisation goal and are proud to be the first global glass manufacturer to commit to achieving net zero by 2040. We are looking for people to join us on this journey as we reimagine glass for a sustainable future.

With three sites across West Yorkshire, we have invested heavily in our operations in recent years. Through modern equipment and increased automation, we are building a more efficient and innovative business ready to support continued growth and meet evolving customer needs. To support this growth, we are looking for a motivated and proactive Sales Account Manager to join our Sales Team, covering the Scotland region. This is a hybrid role, primarily home-based, with regular customer visits and occasional travel to our head office located in Castleford and UK manufacturing sites.

Reporting to the Sales Manager for Scotland, you will manage key customer accounts, build and strengthen relationships, and identify new business opportunities, positioning Verallia UK as the supplier of choice. You should have a proven track record in sales and account management, with strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills. You will be highly organised, commercially aware, and driven to meet targets while ensuring profitability and delivering excellent customer service.

This is a full-time role (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday), with flexible start and finish times.

What we offer:

  • The opportunity to grow your career within a successful, multi-million-pound organisation
  • A chance to be part of a team driving sustainable growth in a future-focused industry
