About the Role
Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to grow your career in a dynamic and collaborative environment? We’re seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance team in Castleford. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting across the Group, while developing your skills in a fast-paced and supportive setting.
This role involves supporting the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting across the Group.
Responsibilities
- Produce and review weekly cost control analysis
- Assist with maintaining the asset register
- Support business partnering across departments
- Post journals accurately and assist with period-end close
- Prepare management accounts and reconcile balance sheets
- Contribute to annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts
- Ensure adherence to financial procedures and internal controls
- Maintain high standards of Health & Safety in line with company policy
Qualifications
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)

- Strong Excel skills and overall computer literacy
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
