Verallia UK is one of Europes most prominent manufacturers of premium glass containers, providing exceptional quality glass packaging for some of the worlds most prestigious spirit brands for over one hundred years. Glass is infinitely recyclable making it an important packaging material of today and more importantly of the future, as such the glass industry is an exciting and sustainable business to work in and be part of. We are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated and pro-active individual to join our Decoration Department as a Machine Setter at our Castleford site. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: – Set up all automated and semi-automated printing machines. Provide technical knowledge for printing jobs. Maintain all printing machinery. Provide assistance to the Chargehand to maintain the efficiency of the shift. Provide customers with assistance on their specifications and give advice on artwork.
