Huntingdon Hybrid Working (3 Days Office / 2 Days Home) Up to £15 per Hour Immediate Start
Our client, a well-established business based in Huntingdon, is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team on a temporary basis. This role has arisen due to a period of sickness absence and is initially expected to last for 1 month, although there is potential for the assignment to be extended.
Working as one of two Credit Controllers within a friendly and supportive finance team, you'll be responsible for managing your own customer ledger and helping to ensure cash collection targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities- Managing and maintaining a designated customer ledger
- Chasing outstanding debt via telephone and email
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Resolving customer queries and invoice disputes
- Allocating incoming payments
- Producing aged debtor reports
- Supporting month-end activities where required
- Working closely with colleagues across finance and operations
- Previous experience within a Credit Control position
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confident dealing with customers over the phone and via email
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Able to work independently and manage a busy workload
- Available immediately or at short notice
- Up to £15 per hour
- Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)
