What you'll be doing:
- Repairs & Maintenance: Carry out scheduled and reactive general maintenance tasks, assisting with keeping technical areas clean, safe and operational.
- Preventative Checks: Conducting routine inspections, meter readings and servicing to prevent breakdowns.
- Portable Appliance testing.
- Fire Alarm & Emergency light testing
- Completing tasks efficiently and moving between jobs as priorities change.
- Responding to service desk requests in line with site KPI's
- Completing any reasonable request to support the site operations.
- Compliance: Following health & safety regulations and maintaining standards.
- Site Support: Support the technical services department escort and supervise contractors on site
What we're looking for:
- Ability to pass DBS check
- Experience using hand/power tools, ability to complete simple building fabric repairs and maintenance
- Experience identifying issues and finding practical solutions with support of the maintenance team.
- Dexterity, coordination, and physical fitness.
- Communication, teamwork, time management, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
- Competence with basic software and documentation.
