The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

Salary: £14.47 (£30,097.60) plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 per week Monday - Friday 8:00am - 17:00pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays (8am - 1pm) - which will be paid as overtime.

Attendance bonus and overtime when needed.

Location: Redbournbury Treatment Plant, St Albans, AL3 6RP

This site accepts inorganic chemical bulk waste and treats it with the Physio-chemical treatment.

What will you be doing?

  • Undertake preventative maintenance and repair of the plant and equipment
  • Ensure that breakdowns are attended
  • Maintain record keeping of available spares and accessories
  • Assist site management and contractors in any commissioning trials on new equipment or treatment ideas
  • Maintain records relating to maintenance of site, equipment and works carried out
  • Oversee and ensure the safe operation, maintenance, monitoring and reporting of efficiency of the waste processing plant on site

What are we looking for?

  • Similar operational/manual handling experience
  • Full UK driving licence and transport to travel to the site
  • Experience in maintenance tasks (e.g. pump repair)
