Wear correct PPE and carry out all tasks in a safe manner in line with site rules and training.
Use handrails and marked walkways when moving around site. Be vigilant around plant and vehicles. Report all safety and environmental issues.
Conduct laboratory tests on process and product samples in accordance with standard test procedures and standards e.g. Food Grade Standards and ISO 17025.
Use correct containers and methods for collecting samples in accordance with site and guidance procedures. Sample material quality and record information correctly and accurately.
Ensure all laboratory equipment has up-to-date calibration and is functioning correctly. Collaborate with other departments to provide technical support and analytical guidance.
Follow general Good Laboratory Practices. Report any quality issues to site supervisor/management. Stop the job and report any safety issues to the line manager.
Assist with future innovations/projects and building business cases to support. Other ad-hoc duties as requested by Management.
