Salary: £28,000 plus Veolia Benefits Package
Location: Battlefield Office, Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Travel required to other Veolia sites, typically Shropshire and Staffordshire

What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the Contract Performance Manager in all aspects of their role.
- This includes working as part of the Contract Performance Team and dealing with Staffordshire County Council, Shropshire Council and Telford & Wrekin Council clients and their staff.
- Support the production and submission of monthly and annual Contract reports to meet contract deadlines
- Assist with contractual, legal, and financial dealings with council clients, including attendance at meetings
- Help ensure waste management operations comply with all legal and contract requirements
- Support the Contract Management team with health and safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance
- Work with the Business Performance Analyst to identify improvements and implement business efficiencies
- Provide contractual support across ERFs, Transfer Stations, and HRC businesses
- Assist with waste flow management and client negotiations
What we’re looking for:
- Degree in a scientific or business-related discipline (to be achieved by September 2026)
- Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Suite
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel to training locations and potentially (if in a rotational role) relocate for role requirements
- Commitment to continuous learning and development
