The predicted salary is between 38500 - 77000 £ per year.

Salary: £55,000 + £550 Car allowance per month + 20% annual bonus

Location: Site Based Role - Macclesfield, Cambridge & Liverpool

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working on a high profile contract across 3 UK sites to support their sustainability target of net zero by 2030
  • Take the lead in all aspects of innovations and business improvements projects across the customer UK contracts that will deliver waste minimisation and reduction, increased recycling rates, and best environmental and sustainable practices all contributing to our journey of an ecological transformation
  • Ensure the delivery of projects to implement operational best practice whilst maintaining and improving environmental performance and reduction of costs
  • To ensure that added value by development of best practices, innovations, efficiencies and technological improvements are delivered to the clients’ sites
  • Finding solutions to move all waste streams up the waste hierarchy and outlets for those difficult waste streams that currently go for incineration
  • Using and tapping into Global contacts and aligning with Veolia BS&P and Veolia’s Centre of Excellence to identify and deliver projects across the three customer sites
  • The key attributes are the candidate’s ability to motivate, negotiate and manage all key stakeholders both within the Veolia Team and the customer to deliver the projects

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in a waste management or an environmental management role
  • Degree in science, environmental or engineering discipline
  • Minimum IOSH Certificate
