Salary: £22,048 per annum plus Veolia benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Programme Duration: Up to 42 Months
Candidate shortlisting will take place on w/c 17th - 24th March and assessment days will take place between w/c 31st March - 7th April.

During this programme, we’ll help you develop your practical and behavioural skills and support you in gaining the technical and professional knowledge required for you to succeed in your career. As well as this, you’ll also gain a Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Certificate, NVQ Competency Certificate & IOSH Working Safely. With many of our colleagues starting as apprentices, you’ll receive full support and guidance from everyone throughout. By the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll have received industry-standard training and attained qualifications that will enable you to progress and reach your full potential.
What you’ll be doing:
- Identify and fix faults on plant and equipment
- Working in compliance with technical specifications and supporting documentation
- Accessing and testing the performance and condition of plant and equipment
- Performing routine and non-routine operating procedures on plant and equipment
- Operating complex steam generation equipment
- Responding to contingencies and abnormal conditions, to maintain energy conversion and production plant and equipment within operational parameters
What we’re looking for:
- A minimum of 4 GCSEs Grade 4/C (or equivalent) achieved or predicted, including Maths, English & preferably Science
- Ability to follow health and safety policies and procedures and willing to challenge unsafe behaviour
- Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new skills
- Good Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to work with others
