Salary: up to £37,000 per annum plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon - Fri

Location: Airbus, Anchorage Road, Portsmouth, PO3 5PU

What you'll be doing:

  • Carry out planned and reactive building maintenance across occupied campus buildings, meeting agreed SLAs.
  • Complete general fabric repairs including plumbing (sanitary ware/pipework), carpentry (doors/ironmongery/shelving), and minor roofing/guttering.
  • Undertake minor building works such as brickwork, paving and small concrete repairs.
  • Perform/assist with statutory inspections and testing (e.g., fire doors, fire alarms, sprinklers, emergency lighting) and carry out PAT testing where required.
  • Log works, risk assessments and findings on the CAFM system; report faults, maintain tools/PPE, and escort specialist subcontractors when instructed.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience/Qualification in a building maintenance field
  • Ability to pass DBS check
  • PAT Testing Qualification, Basic electrical awareness, Basic plumbing experience and qualifications.
  • ACOP L8 knowledge is desirable
  • Previous use of MEWPS, IPAF, FLT
  • Good literacy and numeracy.
  • Computer and PDA skills.
  • Possess a high degree of attention to detail
  • Able to self-manage workload and communicate effectively.
